PeaceDot Resources

This page can be accessed at peace.urinorthamerica.org as well as through the Resource menu above.

The purpose of the United Religions Initiative is to promote enduring, daily interfaith cooperation, to end religiously motivated violence and to create cultures of peace, justice and healing for the Earth and all living beings. That says it all!

The PeaceDot Originator

Peace.Stanford.edu
began the peace-dot movement online, encouraging organizations to add a peace-dot page to their sites.  An extensive directory of peace-dot web pages is available on the peace.stanford.edu page and also below at the bottom of this page.

Facebook PeaceDot Page

Peace.Facebook.com
has some astonishing ongoing statistics, showing the amount of traffic on facebook between countries not exactly known for friendly relations, such as Israel/Palestine or Greece/Turkey.  And an ongoing questioning of facebook users by nation on whether world peace is possible in 50 years shows the U.S. as very pessimistic with less than 10% thinking world peace is possible in just five decades.  Something has to be done about that!
