North American CCs
Cooperation Circles of URI in North America
URI in North America is growing a network of Cooperation Circles (CCs) across the US and Canada. Find one in your area using the following list. Follow the link to those who have a website, or send an email to their Primary Contact to learn more about their interest areas, coming programs and meetings.
CCs are the heart of URI. Independently organized, self-governing and self-funding, they build cooperation among people of all faiths and traditions to address the most pressing issues facing their collective communities, including poverty, religiously motivated violence, sustainability issues and more. A certification process is conducted every few years to confirm that a CC meets the basic standards of having at least 7 members who represent at least 3 different faith traditions. A CC may continue without meeting these standards, however only those that are certified may participate in the election of Global Trustees and other organization-wide decisions.
