The Interfaith Ik Onkar Peace Foundation has embarked on the most important project of Virsa (Heritage) Celebration in Lahore, Pakistan and Chandigarh, India in March 2012.

You are cordially invited to join us on a loving journey in search of creating friendship and harmony among the peoples of the world. Music, Poetry and other fine arts which speak to our hearts will bring us together. You will enjoy the cultural heritage of Indus Valley Civilization. We are starting this journey from Punjab and Sindh because it is one of the cradles of civilizations; home to the ancient excavated cities of Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro. It is the land of the great epics of Ramayana and Mahabharata. This is where Baba Sheikh Farid, Baba Guru Nanak, Baba Buleh Shah, Waris Shah, Alama Iqbal, Amrita Pritam, Faiz Ahemad Faiz and Shiv Kumar Batalvi, to name a few, nurtured the loving unity of human spirit with their poetry and songs. Immersed in this cultural environment the delegates will meet in small work groups to explore the following questions and share what and who has inspired their life journey to seek peace within themselves and harmony in the world around them.

  • Narrate your life story to your group
